Our Policies

Your Safety is Our Priority at Julie Nails Beauty Salon

To ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone, we continue to follow professional hygiene standards in accordance with 2025 Canadian health guidelines:

Appointments are required — walk-ins are accepted when possible, but advance booking is recommended to ensure availability and personalized service.

Please arrive on time to allow for proper service flow and sanitation between clients.

• We kindly ask that guests and children do not accompany clients, to maintain a calm and focused space.

Health & Hygiene Protocols:

All tools and surfaces are thoroughly sanitized between clients using Health Canada–approved disinfectants.

Hand washing upon arrival is encouraged for both clients and staff.

• If you’re feeling unwell, please reschedule your appointment. There will be no penalty for illness-related cancellations with 24 hours’ notice.

Face masks are optional, but welcome — especially if you’re feeling under the weather.

• Our team has completed up-to-date sanitation and infection control training, including Barbicide certification.

Additional Notes:

Contactless payment options (Debit, Credit, Apple Pay) are available.

Refreshments and blankets are temporarily unavailable, but you are welcome to bring your own.

• For safety and comfort, we aim to limit each treatment room to one client at a time unless safety barriers are in place.

At Julie Nails Beauty Salon, we take pride in the quality of our work and want you to leave feeling confident and happy.

If for any reason you’re not fully satisfied with the result or would like a minor adjustment, simply reach out to us within 3 days of your appointment.

We’ll be happy to make it right — at no extra cost — during the earliest available time slot.

Because when you look good, we feel great.

We understand that life happens and plans can change. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we’re happy to help — we just ask for at least 24 hours’ notice.

For same-day cancellations or rescheduling, a $50 fee will be applied to your next visit.

Thank you for respecting our time and allowing us to better serve all of our clients.

To secure your appointment, a reservation fee (deposit) may be required. This amount will be applied to your final total on the day of your service.

Reservation fees can be paid online, by credit card, e-transfer, or in person — whichever is most convenient for you.

If you need to cancel, we completely understand — just let us know at least 24 hours in advance, and we’ll be happy to refund your reservation fee.

Please note that services, packages, and gift cards are non-refundable.

Refunds, exchanges, or store credit are available only for retail products and must meet the following conditions:

• Returned within 14 days of the original purchase date

• Accompanied by a valid receipt

• In sealed, unused, and original packaging, in sellable condition

If you’re running behind, please let us know as soon as possible.

We’ll always do our best to accommodate you, but late arrivals may result in a shortened or adjusted service to fit the remaining time.

If you’re significantly late, a cancellation fee may apply at our discretion.

Please note that 45-minute appointments are available only if booked within 14 days of your previous visit. This allows us to maintain consistent results and personalized care.

We kindly ask that you let us know if you’re unable to attend your appointment.

Missed appointments without notice will result in a $50 no-show fee, as this time is reserved especially for you.

Thank you for respecting our time and the time of other clients.

As mentioned during booking, please arrive with clean lashes and lash line to ensure the best retention and quality of your service.

If lashes are not properly cleaned, your technician may need to perform a lash bath ($25 additional fee) before starting.

Alternatively, you’re welcome to use our lash shampoo in the bathroom prior to your appointment — just keep in mind this may shorten the time available for your service.

To qualify for a refill, your appointment must be within 5 weeks of your last lash visit and you must have at least 30% lash retention. Since this is a time-based service, please arrive on time with clean lashes to make the most of your appointment.

Kindly note:

We do not offer refills on lash extensions done at other salons. A full set will be required in that case.

To keep your semi-permanent makeup looking fresh and defined, periodic touch-ups are recommended.

Touch-up pricing applies only to work originally done at Julie Nails Beauty Salon.

If your initial procedure was done elsewhere, we’d be happy to offer a consultation to assess your brows and provide custom pricing.

Your safety and comfort are our top priorities.

If you experience any allergic reaction to the products used during your service, please contact us right away so we can assess the situation and support you.

If you’ve had allergic reactions to eyelash extensions in the past or suspect sensitivity to our products, please let us know before your appointment.

We’re happy to offer a patch test in advance — just give us a call or email to request it.

Please note: While refunds are not issued for allergic reactions, we will gladly remove the lashes free of charge at your earliest convenience.

We completely understand that sometimes you may need to bring your child with you. If that’s the case, please give us a call in advance to let us know.

During busier times, we may not be able to accommodate children in the salon, and please note that our staff are unable to provide supervision.

To maintain a clean and safe environment for all our guests, pets are not permitted in the salon due to hygiene standards and potential allergies.

Service animals are welcome, but we kindly ask for 72 hours’ notice so we can ensure a safe space for clients with sensitivities.

There’s plenty of street parking available nearby, and for added convenience, there’s also free parking across the street in the McDonald’s lot — just a short walk from the salon.
